Scope and principle
This policy covers Apple and HarmonyOS versions. Flick requires no Flick account and includes no advertising, behavioral tracking or third-party analytics SDK. Flick does not upload photos, thumbnails or analysis results to developer-operated servers.
Photos, decisions and settings
The system controls access to your photo library. Analysis runs on-device. Analysis caches, keep and pending decisions, statistics and settings are stored locally. Apple uses local databases and system preferences; HarmonyOS uses relationalStore for decisions and analysis caches, and preferences for some settings.
Free allowance records
Allowance records contain deleted-photo counts, byte totals and any separate video counter supported by the version, not photo content. Apple uses local preferences, Keychain and iCloud key-value storage, so counters may sync through your iCloud account. HarmonyOS uses local records and system Asset Store; its allowance is recorded per device. Some records may survive uninstalling to prevent reinstalling from resetting the allowance.
Cloud originals and system services
When you enable cloud-photo loading, the system photo library may download originals and use network data. Apple or Huawei handles cloud photos and synchronization under its policies; the Flick developer does not receive these downloads. System backup or migration may include local databases and settings, depending on the device and account configuration.
Purchases and diagnostics
The platform store processes prices, purchases, orders and refunds. The app uses Apple StoreKit or Huawei IAP to verify and restore entitlements. Flick does not collect card details, payment passwords or billing addresses for the developer. The system or store may provide diagnostic or transaction-management information under its policies. Flick has no third-party crash-reporting SDK.
Permissions and controls
Apple uses system photo-library permission. HarmonyOS requests photo reading, confirmed deletion, persistent allowance records, haptic feedback and networking for system purchases. Flick does not request contacts, microphone, camera or location permissions. Manage photo access in system settings and cloud-original loading in Flick settings.
Retention, removal and contact
Local caches and settings are generally removed when the app is uninstalled. System backups, Keychain, Asset Store or iCloud records may remain under system rules.
